Network Management & Maintenance
The contract with Motorola includes remote monitoring of the system and repair and restoration of the system. Motorola's service center in Illinois monitors the system 24x7 and includes a toll-free number help desk to receive user reports and assist users with system operation. Telecommunications problems are resolved in conjunction with the SUNCOM network operations center. Motorola is required to respond to all local system problems that affect operations within two hours and restore full functionality within six hours.
