System Description
The interoperability (IO) network uses Motorola's Motobridge hardware and software. Main components are Operations and Maintenance Center (OMC) servers and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) servers at the system level and Radio Gateway Units, Workstation Gateway Units, and Dispatcher Application at the local level. The State's Suncom RTS service connects the dispatch centers. Features include:
- IP-Based Network
- Completely distributed architecture with no central switch and redundancy to insure system services
- Support for all radio frequency bands and proprietary systems
- Secured network with encryption
- Scalable components for later expansion as necessary
- Network management and system maintenance by Motorola
