Project Objectives
- To enable first responders on dissimilar radio systems and frequencies to communicate directly with each other;
- To provide resources that will serve first responders when they are out of their local service area;
- To use existing systems rather than purchase new systems;
- To provide tools that can be used in planned, interagency actions, emergency response situations as well as daily operations; and
- To have interoperability solutions that are always available and everywhere.
